Matthew Gregory (Aug 25, 1984 — May 18, 2025)

Peacefully at home after a courageous battle, Matthew Raymond Gregory passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the age of 40. Loving husband to Jennifer and cherished son of Raymond and Maureen. A brother greatly missed by Adam (Lindsay) and Jenny (Patrick) and the World’s Best Uncle to Zachary, Declan, Sonora and Quinn. Matt will be dearly missed by relatives and close friends.

Matt’s charisma and outgoing nature was unmatched and will always have a special place in the hearts and memories of all who knew him. He truly was the life of the party, and a personality that won’t soon be forgotten. He was a committed member of then Orangeville sports community through his passion for everything from hockey to baseball and any activity in between. The family cottage on Kahshe Lake was his little piece of heaven, where he found solace in quiet mornings on the dock and quality time with those he loved so very much.

As we grieve our immense loss, the Gregory family encourages everyone who had the pleasure of knowing our Matty, to live life to its fullest, and to do what you love with the people you love.

Family will remember Matt in a private ceremony and details of a Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
